Thesis data analysis in Coimbatore

Data analysis for Coimbatore theses, explained table by table.

For scholars in Coimbatore, worked remotely from Nagercoil. Checked .

Yes, we help Coimbatore scholars with SPSS, R, AMOS and SmartPLS analysis, working remotely from Nagercoil, and explain each table till you can defend it.

Many scholars type “SPSS help Coimbatore” and find people who will “do the analysis” and mail the output. With us, first we plan the tests with you. Then we run them and put each table in the format your thesis needs. After that we go table by table with you on a video call, till the numbers are clear to you. We have no office in Coimbatore, so there is no place to drop a pen drive. You can send the files on WhatsApp or by email.

Our methods and deliverables are listed on the national data analysis page. From Coimbatore we mostly get survey files from commerce and management scholars and field-trial data from agriculture. Each university also checks your results at its own stage.

Survey data from Bharathiar commerce and management scholars

In Bharathiar University, most commerce, management and social science theses are built on a survey. A usual file has 400 to 600 rows of respondents and 30 or 40 columns of Likert items. Many times the guide has already asked for “factor analysis and SEM”.

We don’t start with the model. First we do some basic checks on the survey file. Reverse-worded items have to be recoded. Then we see whether each scale holds together, and we give you a Cronbach’s alpha you can report. Last, we match every objective in Chapter 1 with at least one test in the analysis chapter. This last check is the one that fails most. Think of an objective like “to study the awareness of GST among small traders in Tiruppur”. For this kind of objective a descriptive table is mostly sufficient, and if needed we add one chi-square on top. Nobody needs a structural model for it.

The 2025–26 regulations of Bharathiar also allow chartered accountants, cost accountants and company secretaries to register part-time, once two years have passed after they qualified. Their topics are mostly tax, audit or finance. Instead of survey they use secondary data from annual reports. For that kind of data we usually do panel regressions or ratio analysis. This is done in R, not only SPSS, with output you can read.

Bharathiar’s 275-page limit and the text around your tables

Bharathiar sets a limit of 275 pages, and tables and diagrams are not counted in it. Scholars think this gives lot of space for the analysis chapter. In practice the space is less than it looks. Every table needs a paragraph telling what the table shows, and those paragraphs are counted in the 275.

So we keep the writing in the analysis chapter short and to the point. For each table we write one finding in two to four sentences. A line like “The F value of 4.62 (p = .003) shows that satisfaction differs across age groups” is enough for the reader. A full page of textbook notes on what ANOVA means adds nothing for the examiner, and it uses up pages you will need later for the discussion.

Your analysis chapter is first seen in public at the pre-PhD presentation in the department. Any faculty member or research student can ask questions there. The question that comes up most is “why did you use this test?”. Most of those answers are in the guide on choosing a statistical test.

Field and lab trials at TNAU

Trial data from TNAU is a different type altogether. It comes from a randomised block or split-plot trial, from pot culture, or from lab assays done in replicates. Mostly we use analysis of variance and then mean comparisons for this. Which analysis is correct, that depends on how the trial was laid out in the field. Suppose a split-plot trial is analysed as a simple RBD. Then the main plot gets the wrong error term, and an agronomy examiner will catch it at once.

At TNAU the time when you do the analysis is also important, not only which test you use. TNAU’s PG Rules and Regulations 2025 link the thesis to research credits that are evaluated every semester, and one semester can have at most 20 research credits. For this reason we analyse each season’s trial data while you are planning the next season. If some trial has to be repeated, you should come to know in the early stage itself.

We use the data as you recorded it. Sometimes a replicate fails or a plot is lost in the field. The analysis show that openly, and we help you report it.

Engineering data at Anna University centres and Amrita

Engineering scholars at the Anna University centres in Coimbatore mostly have experimental data. The work may be design of experiments, regression on test results, or a Taguchi or response surface study for some textile or foundry process. The R2025 regulations ask for the complete first draft at the synopsis meeting (clause 16.6). So the analysis chapter must be finished before that meeting.

In Amrita the analysis gets split across papers. As per the 2024 policy, publications are linked to milestones like the qualifying exam and Open Seminars I and II, and the papers have to be in Q1 or Q2 journals. A result you gave in the paper should come in the thesis also with the same value. If the mean is 3.42 in the paper and 3.47 in Chapter 4, examiner will ask. So we keep one master file of all your results, and the paper tables and the chapter tables are both taken from that file only.

How it works from Coimbatore

To start, send us your objectives, hypotheses, the questionnaire or trial layout, and the raw data. Also tell us which university is awarding your degree. We read it and send an analysis plan written objective-wise. Please take this plan to your guide and get his or her okay first, we don’t run any test till then.

Once your guide says okay to the plan, cleaning of the data file starts and then the tests are run. The tables come to you already in your thesis format, and we send the SPSS or R output files with them. Then we do a video call, which you can record, and go through each table of the analysis chapter. You explain every table back to us in your own words. Before starting, the scope, dates and fee are fixed in writing.

We will not change, add or remove any data to get a better p-value. If a hypothesis is not supported, it stays not supported in the thesis. We help you write about the reasons.

Ask about data analysis for your thesis in Coimbatore

Only four fields to fill. We will call or WhatsApp you back by the next working day, and many times earlier than that. First talk with us is free, you don’t pay anything for it.

We reply on the next working day. Your details stay with our team.

Scope, stages, timelines and how we price the work are the same wherever you are. See data analysis for your thesis.

Questions from Coimbatore scholars

Do you do SPSS analysis for Bharathiar PhD theses?

Yes. For most Bharathiar survey work SPSS is enough. When the model needs it we use AMOS or SmartPLS, and where SPSS can’t do the job we go to R.

Can you analyse my TNAU field experiment?

Yes. Send us the field layout sheet and your raw observation book, scanned or typed is fine. Also tell us the design, whether RBD, split-plot or factorial, so that we take the correct error terms.

My guide wants SEM, but my sample is 120. Is that a problem?

It can be. 120 respondents is less for a covariance-based model in AMOS if your model has many items and many paths in it. In some cases SmartPLS handles it better. We will explain the options to you, and the final decision is with you and your guide.

My thesis has dozens of charts. Will the file be too big for Bharathiar?

It can happen. For online thesis submission Bharathiar asks for a file below 10 MB. Many scholars paste each chart as a big screenshot and the PDF becomes very heavy like that. From our side, charts go to you as image files exported out of SPSS or R directly, and those are much smaller than a screenshot. Even then, open your final PDF and see the size some days before the last date, don’t leave it for the last night.

Will my data be shared with anyone?

No. Your data file is used for your analysis only. We don’t give it to any other person or use it for any other work.

In Coimbatore and short of time?

Call or WhatsApp, say where you are in your thesis, and we’ll tell you plainly what kind of help makes sense, if any.
