Dissertation writing help

Help with a Master’s dissertation or project report, on a semester deadline.

Yes, we help with your Master’s dissertation or project report, from planning and drafting to the final format, before your submission date.

A Master’s project has to finish inside one semester, and many things eat into that time. The topic gets approved late. Your guide is also guiding twenty other students. The internship or the lab work takes away half of the weeks you kept for writing. Then the college sends a senior batch report as sample and says follow this. Many times the viva date is on the notice board before chapter one is started.

We have seen this in MBA, M.Com, MSW, MA, M.Sc, M.Tech, M.Pharm and MCA projects. Subjects are different, and mostly we see the same trouble. A short report written in a hurry still has to hold up before the internal and external examiner. So we take your deadline first and plan backwards, one week at a time.

Who this suits

You will find this useful if your project is in one of these situations.

  • An MBA or M.Com summer project done at a company. You have notes from the internship, but there is no questionnaire and no data yet, and only four weeks are left.
  • An M.Tech dissertation where the Phase II work is running fine, but the report, the results chapter and the paper your department is asking for are still not written.
  • An MSW, MA or M.Sc dissertation in which the guide got allotted late, and you are getting just one short meeting in a month.
  • M.Pharm or MCA project with the lab work or the software already finished. Only the write-up is pending before the viva.

What you get

A topic you can finish in time

We help you fix a title and a scope that fits the weeks you actually have. “Customer satisfaction in Indian banking” is too big for one semester. If you take one branch in one city and 150 customers, it can be done.

A chapter plan in your college’s order

Most Master’s reports comprise of the same chapters in the same order. Introduction, review of literature, research design, analysis and interpretation, and last the findings, suggestions and conclusion. Some colleges want a company or organisation profile also. Whatever order your college has given, in the same order we are arranging your chapters.

The questionnaire or the data plan

For MBA, M.Com and MSW surveys we prepare a questionnaire with proper scales and a sample size you can really reach. You can see the numbers behind it in our sample size calculator. For M.Sc, M.Pharm and M.Tech work, we make a plan of which readings, trials or runs will go into which table.

Analysis you can explain at the viva

For survey projects this is mostly percentage analysis, chi-square, ANOVA, correlation or regression. The tables are set out the way Master’s reports usually show them. With each table we give a short note on what the table show, so you can write the interpretation in your own words.

Drafting support, chapter by chapter

You write the chapters yourself, even if the first version is rough. We go through each chapter with you in tracked changes. We correct how the chapter is structured and mark the places where it moves away from your objectives.

The front pages and the format

Bonafide certificate, declaration, acknowledgement, contents, list of tables and list of figures, all as per your college template. Margins, font, page numbers and binding size also follow your college rules. Please don’t go by the senior’s report for these.

A similarity check before you submit

We run a check on the full report. Then we go through the matches with you and fix them by honest rewriting and correct citation.

Viva practice

One short call in which we ask you what Master’s examiners usually ask. Why did you pick this topic? Why this sample? What would you do differently? What does Table 4.3 tell a manager?

How the work runs

  1. Send the deadline and the college format

Send us the submission date, and the viva date if it is announced. Also send whatever the department has given you, like a format circular, a template or a senior’s report. Mention your programme and the university name.

  2. Get a week-by-week plan

From the submission date we count backwards and make a week-by-week plan for you. Every week has only one job, for example the topic, the questionnaire, the data, one chapter or the format. On the first day itself you will know if the deadline is realistic or not.

  3. Work through the chapters

Send each chapter when you finish writing it. We return it in tracked changes within the days we agreed, and after that your guide reads it. For a Master’s report, two rounds per chapter is normal.

  4. Assemble, check and practise

At the end we put the report together with its front pages, run the similarity check and set the final format. You get a print-ready PDF, and then the viva practice call.

How long it takes

WorkTypical timeDepends on
Topic, title and chapter plan3 to 5 daysHow fast your guide approves the topic
Questionnaire and data plan3 to 5 daysHow many variables you have, and if a standard scale is available
Analysis for 100 to 200 survey responses4 to 7 working daysHow clean the data is, and the number of objectives
Chapter work, introduction to conclusion3 to 5 weeksYour writing speed and your guide’s comments
Front pages, format, similarity check and PDF3 to 5 daysYour college template and what the first similarity score comes to
Viva practiceOne or two callsHow confident you are after the first call

If you have six to eight weeks, a Master’s report can be done comfortably. Three weeks is possible when the data is already collected. With only one week left we can still help in the format, the similarity check and viva practice, but writing new chapters is not possible in that time. Please tell us the real submission date and not the date you are hoping for.

What it costs

A Master’s report is less work than a PhD thesis, and we price it like the smaller job it is. Once you send the format and the deadline, we send you a written quote. It lists what is included, like the chapters, analysis, format and rounds of changes. Payment is in stages. If the deadline is short the quote may change, because the same work has to be done in fewer days.

How we scope and quote

The quote depends on

  • Your programme and what kind of project it is, for example an MBA survey or an M.Tech build
  • How much of the report is already written
  • Whether the questionnaire or the analysis is included in the work
  • The number of pages your college wants
  • How many days are left before submission

Questions scholars ask

My college gave me a senior’s report as the sample. Should I copy its format?

Follow it for the order of chapters. But first check if your department has issued any written format, and compare the two. Senior reports many times carry old rules and old mistakes. If nothing is written, ask your guide about the font and spacing, and the reference style. The rest follows from those.

Is a dissertation the same as a project report?

In most Indian Master’s programmes, almost the same. MBA and MCA students mostly call it a “project report”. MA, MSW and M.Sc students call it a “dissertation”. The chapters are largely common. A project report is usually built around an organisation or something you built, and a dissertation is built around a research question.

Does the 10% plagiarism limit apply to Master’s dissertations too?

As per the UGC 2018 regulations, theses and dissertations come under the same bands, unless your university has fixed its own limit. Some universities have done that. The University of Hyderabad allows only up to 10% for M.Tech dissertations, and TNAU accepts Master’s theses below 30%. INFLIBNET’s ShodhShuddhi accounts are not given to PG students, so the check runs on your college or university tool.

I have two weeks. Is that enough?

That depends on how much is ready. If you have the data and two chapters are drafted, two weeks is tight, but it can be done. If there is no data and nothing is written, two weeks is not enough. We will tell you that at the start itself, and not take the work and let you down.

Can you help with my M.Tech or MCA code as well?

Yes. That comes under our coding and simulation help. Code and report we are planning side by side. Then your results chapter won’t say one thing while the program gives some other output.

Will my dissertation be put online?

It may be. The UGC 2018 regulations ask universities to send Master’s dissertations to INFLIBNET’s Shodhganga, same as PhD theses, within a month of the degree. Not all universities are doing it yet. Still, write it thinking that anyone can read it later.

I’m an MBA student with SPSS output and no idea what it means.

Many MBA students are coming to us with exactly this problem. Through our data analysis service we go through the output with you on a call, table by table, so the interpretation you write is your own.
